The Rise of Nightmares Stance
What at first seem slightly awkward controls soon become natural and, before you know it, you're sucked into a nightmare realist that will see you slashing, bashing, kicking and smashing your way through the hordes of beasties that await.

And, it's not just your hands and feet you get to use. Whilst it looks at first to be on rails, a subtle twist of the shoulders and the camera tilts, put one foot in front of the other and you stride forward, put your foot out more, you speed up. Not as refined, but this works more like a first person shooter.

Tooling up
The E3 demo allowed players access to a small sampling of the weapons available including: explosive vials, brass knuckles, tongs and a chainsaw.

We're certainly looking forward to seeing a little more in-depth game play from this truly unique offering. And to finding out if the opponents are pretty much mostly zombies, and seeing as most of the characters look like they've been pilfered from Sega's highly successful House of The Dead series, we're hopeful.

Resident Evil - Operation Racoon City

Get ready to head back into Racoon City, but this time - you're doing it for 'The Man!'

Check out this stunning trailer, revealed at E3, of the latest incarnation of the original zombie survival game from E3.

In Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, you play as Umbrella Security Service (USS) operatives or as members of a United States Special Operations task-force.

Producer Masachika Kawata said “We wanted to take the Resident Evil franchise in a new direction. It’s going to have a unique style of gameplay you haven’t seen in the series thus far. We have flipped the script on the playable characters, so this time you won’t be playing as the nice hero character trying to survive because now - you are the bad guy,”
