Alicia Vikander to be cast in World War Z?

Bloody Disgusting was recently informed that Paramount Pictures is hoping to cast award winning acress Alicia Vikander in the much touted big-screen adaptation of Max Brooks' bestseller World War Z: An Oral History of The Zombie War. While there are aparently no offers on the table, she would be cast in the role of "Segen" if they get their way.

If all goes to plan, Alicia would feature alongside Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos and Anthony Mackie in the movie adaptation, directed by Marc Forster of Quantum of Solace fame.

Based on the best-selling novel by Max Brooks, " 'World War Z' follows United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt) as he tries to stop a global Zombie pandemic. With armies crumbling and governments rendered useless, Gerry must head out into a hellish and gruesome new world to find allies in his cause.
